Yoga for Healing and Wellness with Tanya

A gentle yoga class for students who are overcoming health challenges- though all students seeking physical and or emotional and mental healing are very welcome. Traditional elements will be adjusted to each student’s needs. A safe place to release blocked energy and develop strength, flexibility and positive focus. Pranayama (breath techniques) to release blocked energy and purify every system, Asana (steady poses) to build comfort, flexibility and strength in the body, and meditation to develop positive mind focus.

Wednesday daytime class 10:45 a.m. – Noon, Impact Dance Studio, Stouffville

Wednesday evening class 6:30 p.m. -7:40 p.m., Stouffville United Church (The Davis Room)

Hatha Yoga (All Levels) with Tanya

This class is a traditional yoga class in the truest sense. A combination of Pranayama (breath techniques) for purification and cleansing, classical Asana (steady poses) for flexibility and strength, and meditation to positively focus the mind. Sensitivity to each student’s strengths and limitations is respectfully observed. A class that welcomes anyone, at any level of practice.

Deep Stretch Yoga (All Levels) with Wendy

Come and enjoy stretching out every major muscle mass you have! We will work together at getting deeper into postures through leading up and stretching our muscles. From the tops of our heads to the bottoms of our feet we will move slowly and mindfully through the asana. It feels wonderful! You will feel longer and taller by the end of the class!
